A travelling minstrel tells Wiglaf that he was born to be a hero. "Dragon slayers are heroes," thinks Wiglaf, so he sets off for Dragon Slayers Academy with his pig Daisy, determined to learn to be a dragon slayer. There’s just one little problem with this plan -- Wiglaf can’t stand the sight of blood.

It’s here – four complete Dragon Slayers’ Academy adventures in one book!

The Early Adventures stories tell how Wiglaf and his many brothers grew up outside the village of Pinwick, how he came to DSA and why he brought his beloved pig, Daisy, with him. They tell how the Wizard Zelnco gave Wiglaf his magical sword and put a speech spell on Daisy so that she speaks Pig-Latin. The Early Adventures tell how Wilglaf met Erica and Angus and how the three of them became a force to be reckoned with at Dragon Slayers’ Academy.

DSA has been translated into 24 different languages. Can you tell which are shown here?

Escuela de Cazadragones: Una Visita Inesperada (Spanish)

Dragedræber-akademiet 8: Nedtælling til år 1000 (Danish)

The New Kid at School

When a fortune teller tells Wiglaf that he was born to be a hero, Wiglaf sets out to fulfill his destiny by signing up at Dragon Slayers’ Academy.

Revenge of the Dragon Lady

Is a wizard's spell for courage enough to save Wiglaf when the "Mother of all Dragons" (or at least of 3,684 of them) comes looking for the lad who slayed son number 92?

Class Trip to the Cave of Doom

The Dark Forest doesn't seem like the best place for a class trip. But that's where Seetha the dragon hid her gold, so that's where Wiglaf and the other kids from DSA have to go -- even if it means entering the booby-trapped Cave of Doom!

A Wedding for Wiglaf?

Rich Princess Belcheena is looking for a husband -- a husband with red hair who has killed at least two dragons and whose name starts with her favorite letter of the alphabet, W.  Could Wiglaf be the man, um, boy of her dreams?

Knight for a Day

When Wiglaf learns that he has won a day with Sir Lancelot, he can hardly believe it. His friend Erica can't believe it either.  She should have won the day, not Wiglaf! Erica is jealous until she and Wiggie discover that there’s something fishy about the World’s Most Perfect Knight.

Sir Lancelot, Where Are You?

The evil witch Morgana le Fay has put a terrible curse on Sir Lancelot, and it's up to Wiglaf and his DSA buddies to find and save him. But they're just dragon-slayers-in-training. Can they really outsmart the trolls, witches, and other villains that stand in their way?

Wheel of Misfortune

Wiglaf, Erica, and Angus are representing DSA in the All-Schools-Brain-Power Tournament. But what on Earth are they going to do about their know-it-all captain, Bragwort?  And how can they even stand a chance against the snobbish Knights Noble Conservatory team?

Countdown to the Year 1000

It's the year 999 and the end of the world is coming  -- at least according to a mysterious prophecy.  But then Wiglaf meets a strange boy who claims to have come from the future.  It's Zack, star of the best-selling The Zack Files series by Dan Greenburg, and he says he's living proof that there is life after the year 1000!

97 Ways to Train a Dragon

Wiglaf’s supposed to be a dragon slayer. But ever since he and Angus found a dragon egg that hatched into a baby dragon in the dorm, he’s become more like a dragon baby sitter. The lads name the little dragon Worm, and looking after him proves to be more than a full-time job.

Help! It's Parents Day at DSA

It's visiting day at Dragon Slayers' Academy and Wiglaf's entire family is coming!  Will Wiglaf be able to survive the day with his wacky parents and crude older brothers? Or will he end up becoming the laughing-stock of the entire school?

Danger! Wizard at Work!

When Wiglaf and his pals from Dragon Slayers' Academy meet up with the wizard Zelnoc, all they ask is for a little magic to help them get through the Dark Forest fast.  Unfortunately Zelnoc’s spells have a way of going wrong and this time he manages to turn the three students into dragons!  And they become the newest students at Dragon Slackers' Academy, a school that teaches knight-slaying!  This funny turnabout in which the kids from DSA suddenly see life from a dragon's point of view makes a wonderful addition to this popular series!

The Ghost of Sir Herbert Dungeonstone

What are those strange noises coming from the dungeon at DSA? Wiglaf and his stalwart cohorts Angus and Erica decide to investigate and inadvertently free the long-imprisoned ghost of the school founder, Sir Herbert Dungeonstone. Overjoyed to be on the loose again, Sir Herbert wreaks havoc, threatening to spoil the headmaster's plan to turn DSA coed.

Beware! It's Friday the 13th

Things couldn't be better for the greedy headmaster of DSA. Lasses are lining up to enroll in his school, and more students means more gold! But when The Medieval Times headline announces that the Bad Luck Dragon is on its way to DSA, Mordred orders his students to hunt for every good luck charm ever invented. But can a bunch of phony 4-leaf clovers help Wiglaf and his friends defeat the dragon Snagglefahng?...or will their luck run out?

Pig Latin -- Not Just for Pigs!

When Mordred announces a three-day weekend for DSA, Wiglaf and his friends (including his Pig Latin–speaking pig, Daisy) head off to Erica’s castle. But when they arrive, they discover that Erica’s father, King Ken, has come down with a horrible case of liver pox. The wizard Zelnoc manages to cure the king’s pox, but as with all the wizard’s spells, there’s a magical mishap. Now, King Ken can only speak in Pig Latin! Can Zelnoc fix his mistake, or is there a better chance that pigs will fly?

Double Dragon Trouble

Wiglaf’s latest assignment for the DSA school paper is to write an in-depth article about the headmaster: "Who is the real Mordred de Marvelous?" Wiglaf, with help from his buddy Angus, decides the best way to learn all about the headmaster is to follow him around school for a day. But when the boys overhear Mordred and his scout, Yorick, whispering about "twins," "kidnapped!" and "gold," they decide to investigate and end up getting much, MUCH more than a newspaper story.

World's Oldest Living Dragon

Sir Mort engineers a class trip to a home for "olde" knights. But when the lads and lasses arrive, they discover Sir Lancelot!  The famous knight has had enough of hacking and whacking.  Find out how Erica (his most fervent admirer), Wiglaf, and the rest of the gang get Lancelot back in action, battling the feared Grizzlegore, the world’s oldest living dragon.

Hail! Hail! Camp Dragononka

It’s the last day of the school year, so it must be time for Wiglaf and all his friends at Dragon Slayers’ Academy to go home and enjoy the lazy hazy days of a medieval summer. Ummm, not quite. Not when Mordred, the gold-hungry headmaster, realizes there’s money to be made running a camp. This double-sized summer super special packs in twice the fun for fans of DSA.

Never Trust a Troll!

After spending the summer at spooky Camp Dragononka, Wiglaf and his pals are back at DSA. They're no longer the youngest lads and lasses -- now they're in Class II, and they are expected to show new students the ropes. Wiglaf not only has to put up with his wild and crazy little brother Dudwin, but also with his Class I "Little Buddy," who turns out to be a not-so-little troll! Wiglaf wants to be a good "Big Buddy" but it's not easy when the troll is always playing jokes on him. And what about the fire-breathing dragon that the troll swears is in the woods outside DSA? Is it really there? Or is this just another one of the troll's great big fibs?

Little Giant -- Big Trouble

Something BIG is going on in the woods near DSA! Wiglaf and his friends are on a rescue mission to save Worm, the dragon they’ve raised since  he hatched, from the clutches of a little girl. A little girl GIANT! The DSA kids can’t let Worm become her house pet. But how can they free him?

School's Out...Forever!

While money-hungry headmaster Mordred is busy planning DSA's conversion into a deluxe casino, Wiglaf and his friends are on a mission to find their dragon buddy Worm. Unsuccessful in their quest, the group returns to see the school set up for a surprise graduation. Will Worm reunite with his friends before the doors close? And what comes next for the young knights in training? Find out in the much anticipated finale to McMullan's hilarious fantasy series.
