School Visits
Goals
When I visit a school, I hope to:
- tell what my life as an author is like, and bring out the inner-author in each student;
- share my excitement about reading and writing;
- answer that persistent question, “Where do you get your ideas?” and help kids tune into their own writing ideas;
- show that rewriting and revising are part of the process of writing and illustrating.
